Against all odds, South African Trevor Immelman captured golf's prestigious Masters Tournament and the coveted green jacket at Augusta National yesterday. His shocking victory came a mere 4 months after the 28-year-old was sidelined by surgery to remove a tumor from his diaphragm. Immelman's game was inspired by his childhood hero (and three time Masters champion), the legendary Gary Player, who was the last South African to earn the Masters title in 1978.
