With its historic Cape Dutch homestead and breathtaking location, it has frequently been described as one of the world’s most beautiful vineyards. The estate's Vin de Constance has a rich history; the coveted elixir was prized by Napoleon, Dickens, Jane Austen and other historical and literary figures with good taste in the 18th and 19th centuries. In 2002, Wine and Spirits Magazine named Klein Constantia among the Top 25 Vineyards of the World.
